BIRD BOX was frightening in a way that kept me on the edge of my seat from page one to the end. MALORIE, on the other hand, didn’t have that same level of suspense, of creepiness.

This book masterfully incorporates biology and frightening body horror into Margot’s coming of age story. The twist hits you like a gut punch. Those last five or so chapters will haunt me for weeks to come, I’m sure.
